BLOC Ministries was started in 1998 by Dwight and Stephanie Young who stepped out on faith with five young children to start a ministry in an underserved urban community in Cincinnati. Since then, BLOC Cincinnati has more than 20 programs, around 40 staff and between 100-150 volunteers weekly. Programs range from Equine therapy to ministries for women who have been sex trafficked, afterschool programs, performance sports center, teaching kitchens, a food pantry, and more primarily located in the Price Hill Community - an urban Cincinnati suburb.
